THE RETREAT
This one-day retreat is a wonderful way to start the year.
Immerse yourself in the art of self-care and begin building a self-care bank to last you throughout the year. By investing in ourselves, we create a resource that's there to support us whenever we may need it.
During the retreat we'll experience a range of practical and creative self-care tools, including guided meditation, energy work, journaling and gratitude practices to create a whole day, entirely devoted to you.
And we'll look at the neuroscience behind self-care to see why it is such a powerful and important component of our lives today and in the future.
It's the perfect introduction to many of the themes we explore in the ChangeFlow™ series - with the opportunity to immerse yourself in a truly restorative and relaxing day.
We believe that self-care is a fundamental part of creating a happy, grounded life. Enjoy it as a gift to yourself (or for someone you love), to explore and practise the art of self-care and loving kindness.
It's thought provoking, mindful, enjoyable and proactive!
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A REEGROUP RETREAT DAY?
Details of each event will change, according to the theme of the day, but this is an example of how the day will flow.
MORNING
- Everyone arrives for a 10.00 start, with refreshments and a warm welcome
- Reegroup workshop session to explore ideas around the day's theme, focussing on what it means for you
- Guided mindful meditation with time for personal reflection and journaling
AFTERNOON
- Reegroup workshop session to continue the morning's work and build up our own individual strategies and next steps
- Yoga Nidra - a deep relaxation technique that restores our body and mind, so we leave the day feeling nourished and restored
- We close the day at 3.30
WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING
- Wear something you love that's comfortable - so you can fully relax
- We'll provide yoga mats, meditation cushions and will have blankets to wrap up in, if you need one
- Bring a packed lunch with you - we'll provide refreshments during the sessions (all drinks and nibbles are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free)
