The Weekend of No-Requirements

16-19 October | Herefordshire

A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life.

The Weekend of No-Requirements is designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself - through deep rest, time in nature, gentle movement, delicious nourishment, creativity and digital-free time.

Fri 16 - Mon 19 Oct | Herefordshire, UK

Intentionally un-structured

Everything is optional. Guided walks, yoga on the lawn, swimming in the lake, resting, morning meditations, creative practices, going digital-free. Do it all or simply choose what resonates most with you.

Nourish your whole self

Food is such an important part of how we replenish ourselves. Everything offered is vegetarian, free from gluten, cow-dairy, refined sugar and alcohol. Deliciously nutritious; an inner hug.

Surrounded by nature

Our home for the weekend is set in rolling hills, ancient woodland and spectacular views. Miles from anywhere, in the middle of everything that supports deep rest and reconnection with the land.

Your hosts

Adam Lind and Henny Flynn once shared an idea about a retreat they both wanted to go on. A weekend that demanded nothing and gave everything needed to feel utterly restored. And slowly it emerged…

Friday 16 October

Arrive & gather

Arrive from 5pm.

Take time to settle in, get comfortable in your chosen room, and maybe explore the beautiful grounds.

Then we gather at 7pm to open our weekend, before our first delicious meal together. Closing the evening with a relaxation practice to send us all off to bed, sleepy and nourished.

Saturday & Sunday 17-18 October

Rest, roam, reflect

Days filled with optional delights.

Join the morning meditation with maybe a gentle yoga stretch to ease into the day. Enjoy creative and reflective practices, walks in the woods, a swim in the lake or even a hula hoop workshop on the lawn. It’s all possible. And if what you really need is deep rest, settle by the fire with your journal, and maybe have a snooze.

Our live-in Chef will be tantalising our taste buds throughout our time together. From welcoming treats to breakfast in the farmhouse kitchen, lunch in the lake house and dinner in the ballroom.

Threaded throughout our time are intentional gatherings and intentional pauses. We’ll drink cacao, we’ll journal, we’ll connect. The whole weekend is gently held, allowing space for whatever emerges - all with the lightest touch.

Monday 19 October

Gently return

As our weekend closes, we say farewell after breakfast, and begin our journeys home. The invitation is to carry a sense of this time together - perhaps exploring where we can each bring the essence of being in a space of no-requirements into other parts of our lives. With compassion for ourselves and those around us.
